MgO=Magnesium Oxide
Ca3N2=Calcium Nitride
KI=Potassium Iodide
SrCl2=Strontium Chloride
AlN=Aluminum Nitride

the reason your getting the wrong answers is because you are using the elements own charges as the subscripts whereas its supposed to be the charge of the other ion.. for example for Sodium Phosphide, Sodium (Na) has a 1+ charge and Phoshphate has a 3- charge so you put the number of charge for phosphate in front of sodium and vise versa giving you Na3P.

1) MgO
2) Ca3N2
3) KI
4) SrCl2
5) AlN

Looks like you got 2 out of 5 right. Remember the charges of the ions - Mg is 2+, O is 2-, Ca is 2+, N is 3-, Sr is 2+, Cl is 1-. Group 1 elements (alkali metals) form 1+ ions, Group 2 (alkaline earths) form 2+, Group 15 (pnictides) are 3-, Group 16 (chalcogens) are 2-, Group 17 (halogens) are 1-.
