I've been looking at this situation also. Here are some of my possible trades or acquisitions to appease Mr. Bryant.
1) The Lakers could try pursuing Jermaine O'Neal, perhaps Bynum could have a good start to the season and Bynum's trade value will go up and the Lakers won't have to give up Lamar. Perhaps trade Bynum, Kwame, Farmar/Crittenton/Radmonovic, and some draft picks.
2) I read at this site http://thelakersnation.com/blog/?p=1269 , that Arenas would consider the Lakers, since it's his hometown. The Lakers could try making some cap room since Kwame's 10 million a year will be gone, then they can sign him next offseason where he'll be a free agent. But Arenas may have to consider a lower salary than expected. This would give the Lakers perhaps the deadliest backcourt in the nba.
3) The only other available big man would be Carlos Boozer, but the Lakers would have to trade out Odom and Bynum to get him. And would the make the Lakers any better? Probably not...
4) Try signing Baron Davis next offseason if he decides to opt out. This would make a hell of a backcourt, similar to Arenas, and hopefully he'll take a slight salary drop. But with Kwame's contract being off, maybe Baron wouldn't mind 10 mill a year if it helped him get a championship.
I just hope something happens soon to keep Kobe and bring another championship back to LA. We'll see what happens.

Heres the scenario for the Lakers:
For other teams to get Kobe well you have to destroy the existing roster. That's what Boston did for Ganett didn't they? Getting seven of their people traded for him.
Here are some of the reasons why getting Kobe is a pain in the neck:
1. No "One" player can satiate the Lakers if they trade Kobe. Kobe is very valuable for them it would take two superstar or more if you want to make a trade and seal of the deal. (Well if you are a bottom team standings dweller you better trade the whole team.)
2. Kobe is one of the priciest player in the league. That's a huge amount about 19 Million plus bonuses. Wow! Whopping numbers if you ask me.
Moving Kobe is difficult enough, What makes you think Mitch Kupchack would be able to go for a trade that would satisfy Kobe? This current team is full of underachieving clowns it would take double (if not triple) the effort for Buss and Kupchack to move those clowns around and enough to satisfy Bryant. There would be no better deal for the Lakers other than trading Kobe (that's because he's their lone superstar and talking on the business sense). So hate me for saying this.... Kobe would inevitably bid goodbye to LA landia... Please am no hater but it's the painful truth.
Hope this helps.

Dude just ignore the haters
You and I know he is the best player in the game and all these fools would kill and even die for him to be on their favorite team...they are such hypocrites
Anyways there's nothing we can do now man
No one wants Lamar Odom or Andrew Bynum.
Odom has been injured quite a bit and he just had surgery for hte second conseutive year on his shooting left shoulder
Everyone knows he's messed up...they would only want him if the other teams are willing to give up scrubs or average players in return and no one wants to give up all stars for him
andrew bynum...well he's a 7 footer with a good back to the basket game . but unfortunately thats not gonna cut it in today's up tempo run and gun game
Everyone knows how to exploit this kid's defense and put him in foul trouble and sent him to the pine...he doesn't move his feet very well
He will develop to being an all star player but it will take at least another 3-4 years man...Lakers can't wait around for that because Kobe will be 33 by then and he will be outta Lakerland
that is why its so frustrating because last year at the trading deadline New Jersey Offered Jason Kidd for Kwame/Bynum/1st round pick...Lakers should've taken that
They could've had a Kidd/odom/kobe trio in the playoffs agains the suns
well Lakers stupid GM Mitch Cupcake rejected the deal and the injury bug hit the Lakers and they were never the same the rest of the year
As long as you have Kobe on the team you're gonna make the playoffs guaranteed...wit the current team i don't see them being any higher than the 6th seed...and they'll put up a fight in the 1st round but the team is just not healthy enough and good enough to go into the second round
Hopefully Javaris, Farmar, Vlad rad, bynum and Kwame can step up and help Kobe especially on the defensive end

well they need another star on their team. kobe won those 3 rings with that guy called shaq and nothing has happened since he left. so kobe needs either a dominant big man or another superstar to run with.
with that said, its difficult to get either one because the lakers simply dont have any valuable trade pieces outside of kobe. odom is good but the fact is he hasnt even made an allstar team before and is injury prone. the only other trading piece LA has is bynum and if they turned down jason kidd, theyre probably not looking to deal him. outside of those 2 the lakers have nobody. so the only trade LA can make are minor ones that wont win them a ring.

The lakers must trade for a good center and point guard to supplement Kobe in terms of support. The lakers right now doesnt have a legit center but a role player in Bynum. Mhim is injured and is more of a power forward. Their guard Fisher is the best there is but acceptable at this point tot he team but not to Kobe i think.....Go for Al Jefferson and JJ Redick

Lakers will get 30 cents for a dollar if they trade Kobe, but what the heck, he's not doing any good for the Lakers anyway.
I say he will be happy in Dallas if he gets to play with Dirk Nowitzki or with tHe Suns if he gets to play with Amare and Nash. Those r the two places he will have the best chance at being competitive. I don't think he will be happy anywhere else cuz' those teams would have to "gut" up their whole team just to get him...so what does that leave Kobe with, just a bunch of no names

They need that
1st: Lakers get Al Thornton and Acie Law IV and Sam Cassell, who knows how to play a team game and can help the youngsters out
2nd: Clippers get Radmonovich, who was great in a stint with the clips and Bynum is growing talent
3rd: Hawks sorta get ripped here, but I think that Turiaf can be a good player if he's healthy and plays with high energy

Kobe is genuinely one in all the few superstars interior the sport. concerns could be made concerning how a great number of a private draw he's to the Lakers business enterprise. i've got faith figuring out to purchase and advertising him could be a intense mistake.
