Sometimes asking is all that is needed. It worked for Clinton. In fact why not just have our UN ambassador go to the UN and ask for a resolution condemning it? He did for holocaust denial.

The American Press has done its part for the radical left anti war movement to keep this under the rug. If Bush came out and asked Congress to drop it they'd probably try to make him look like the president of Iran denying the WWII Holocust. Seriously there is no way for him to get a fair shake - the UN idea is a good one but it won't help with the Turks - they are already peeved and that is exactly what Pelosi and the anti war crowd wanted. Defeat at any cost!

I think Bush plainly signalled to congress that their inane resolution was the wrong thing to do at this time. The problem is that there are too many people in congress that put scoring political points ahead of the good of the country. I personally cannot see the sense of alienating an ally by condemning something that may or may not have happened over ninety years ago.

If Turkey invades to Iraq it is not for against to us (American soldiers) they have their own problem at there with terrorists.
I have read some news about Turkey on BBC. They attacked by terrorists and lost 13 troops/soldiers in a day. It wasn't first and last. They are loosing couple soldiers almost everyday. They are saying that they were waiting US to do something because we have control of Iraq. However nothing changed. The terrorist group PKK is the reason for them to invade to Iraq border not all Iraq. They are not against us but they don't want to wait to lose one another soldier.

I have read that Turkish army is the biggest army in Europe and 2. In the NATO

Turkey should be responsible for what happen during the Ottoman Empire, the same way Italy should be responsible
for the Roman Empire.
Nancy Pelosi and company, should know better.

He did ask. It's part of the reason Democrats are going full speed. They think the public is so blind with anti-bush sentiment they won't notice what a huge blunder this bill is.

Because the Democrats are once again doing all they can to sabotage the president and they don't care how many US soldiers will have to pay with their lives for this stupid resolution.
