Musberger is slightly better than Kornheiser, and since Kornheiser is a horrible announcer, that tells you where Musberger is. Best NFL announcer ever: Summerall and Madden in a tie for best.

I actually liked Brent Musberger. He truly was enthusiastic about the game and he had a great voice.
I like Pat Summerall for the best commentator.

First I LOVE Kornheiser! He is the comic relief that the show needs and is knowledgeable enough about football. Although you do have a point I believe Al Michaels and John Madden were the best team. Both knew what was happening and could explain it in layman's terms and those more advanced.
BUT the best commentator is Jaws. He watches film constantly and can tell you anything about any offensive and defensive scheme ever run. He is truly a great football mind.

Brent was and is great. The best football announcer ever was Pat Summerall.

I never liked Brett Muffburger. He also reminded me of someone that I didn't like at the time.
Pat Summerall was the best that I ever witnessed.

Listening to Kornheiser makes me wnat to not watch MNF. He has to be the worst commentator and at times it seems like he knows nothing about the NFL. He is not comic relief because he is not remotely funny.

I hate Musberger as well. Keith Jackson was great
