I recently had to restart my laptop and i used a weird disk to do so and now it thinks its a pc and i can't get a wireless conection to work???? which really sucks can anyone help> > >

Uh... what? It thinks its a pc? Pc's and laptops work pretty much the same way. IF the wireless connection isn't working, it probably isn't because it thinks its a pc. There is probably some sort of driver issue, or a bad connection.

Don't assume that all laptops are wireless and all PCs are hard-wired. I am running a PC wireless and a laptop wired just because of the convenience of the physical location of each. Go to start-setting-network connections and look for the wireless connection. Right-click on it and click on repair.
