Why do people keep asking this silly question? If twice as cold means half as warm (I'm not sure it does) then just convert to absolute temperature and divide by two. You didn't give the units for temperature so there is no way to answer.

Many people seem to have the math right (0 c x 2 = 0), but what defines cold in your geo-location? What is the mean or average temperature for today where you live? It would seem to me that if 0 is Z degrees under that average it's cold and that (-Z x 2) would be the meteo-anwser for your geo-location.
Hope this helps.

Can't tell, you need some kind of scale, literally the answer would be zero once again. Unless you convert to Celsius, in which case the answer would be -29 F.

0 degrees C = 32 degrees F, so twice as cold would be 0 degrees F which is minus 17.8 degrees C

Cold enough to skip work/school, not even a winter jacket with built-in heaters can help keep you away from frostbite, your pipes will freeze and you'll have no water, heater will break and you'll die of hypothermia. sounds fun right?
If not, then I agree with Just Me. Sounds like a very intelligent answer.

0 degrees Celsius = 273.15 kelvin
(273.15 kelvin) / 2 = 136.57500 kelvin
136.57500 kelvin = -136.57500 degrees Celsius
-136.57500 degrees Celsius
Assuming that double as cold also means half as hot, be prepared for a blizzard.

Tomorrows weather is a forecast. If you believe the weather forecast you may believe that 0x2=437,695 degrees Fahrenheit
