if someone disagrees with your sexuality do you call them a bigot. i disagree with child poverty, war, racism. i don't agree with lots of things but i don't resort to derogaroty comments, so why when a heterosexual person poses a question, you may not agree with, they are a bigot. are you not then discrimintive towards 'straight' people. you want acceptance, and people to understand, so why not respect others comments or questions. this is the first and last time i venture into this catergory. what an awful bunch of people!

so rob, we aren't allowed to discuss sexuality issues because you say so. if you needed to discuss your sexuality to get certain rights, then its ok to bring up the subject. you can't choose. we all have a say, and i'm not restricting yours. hell, if you want to disagree with me go ahead. i'm not here to segregate or attack, i'm just stating and voicing my opinion. if you don't like it, don't answer.

I answered your last question, it was a fair comment that I posted, I feel that you should have phrased your question and comments a little more carefully. Also, not everyone who answered your question is gay, lots of people answer questions as they appear in the front page of Y!A, like me for instance, straight.

Yes, gay people are always trying to shove their ways down your throat, but I like gays and bi people, they seem more open. Trannies are great fun to be around, they are real party people, even my wife likes them, but she's bi curious, I think I am too. I bet you never knew that 75% of all the worlds population have same sex fantasies and many hedonistic couples are bisexual. Acceptance of any different social group is all about your social upbringing. They be-head gay people in some Arab countries and that stings a little. I live in Issan and even here the authorities give gay people a hard time. I would hate to live in a world where all the people acted in the same boring way, adhering to their societies rules like automatons, that would be a dull world. Some religions try to create a race of none thinkers, people without sparkle. You should watch a film called "Soldiers Girl." Made me cry a little.

Haha, I have met some pretty... umm... diagreeable gays. And no, you're not a bigot for saying that. Facts are facts right? Saying something like that provokes a lot of attention, mostly becuase people are so concerned with not affending people. If we were made to be nice to each other, everyone would be the same, so we could complment eachother on how nice we look. But gays tend to go right to the defensive because a lot of gays have had to go through a lot of abuse, verbal and emotional. I'm not holding a pity party, but can you think of a slang rude term for a middle class white straight male, comparanle with the "n" word and ****ot? No. So... It's just reflexive name calling, cause bigot is all we got.

"Disagreeing with a sexuality" makes as much sense as "arguing with the number seven". You can agree and disagree only on opinions, not on matters of identity, which are simple facts. A gay person is gay, whether you "agree" or not. And "bigot" (excuse the excessive use of quotes, please) is not an insult, it is an attitude of which most people who pose offensive questions seem to be in possession. They even take pride in it. Calling them out is not equivalent to throwing a hissy fit just because of a differing opinion, which is something we see all too often in this category from people such as yourself.

Actually I hardly ever say "ewwww!" regarding straight people. I don't go to the Marriage & Divorce forum to ask if the latter realize they are damned to hell, and the former need to be Saved. :)

I like straight people, some of my best friends are straight altho some of the men come on to me; you'll understand if I beat the crep out of them for making such a suggestion, right? I mean, I am not a hetero, you understand?

I respect diverse opinion. But trolls and bigots - no.

Child poverty, war & racism are man made. A persons sexuality is natural, it's a part of who they are. Disagreeing with homosexuality is like disagreeing with blue eyes. Pointless & ridiculous. Homosexuals are not an awful bunch of people & your ignorance gives you no right to say so.

you're a bigot when you "disagree" with things that are NOT a matter of choice or circumstance, but are assumed by the person who claims to "disagree" with said situation by assuming it's somehow bad.

One cannot say they "disagree" with left handed-ness. One cannot say they "disagree" with Chocolate.
You can't "disagree" with something that is not harmful to the individual, isn't chosen by the individual and has not real impact on anyone But the individual.

Saying you "disagree" with homosexuality is quite redundant.

wow, well ain't this peachy? You make an inflammatory comment towards a group of people, and wonder why this happened? I really don't know what you expect. Kind of like throwing gasoline on a flame, you will get burnt!

Gay people do not tell straight people that they are wrong because of who they love, while some straight people will tell gay people that their love is wrong. The attitude problems rest with an awful bunch of people, and it is with those who tell others that they are wrong to love.

why do we have an attitude problem? because of people like you who see us as not people, but rather another "issue" to be discussed such as poverty, war, racism.

We are PEOPLE, dear. We are not an issue for you to debate.

Learn to show some respect for us as PEOPLE and you just might get some thrown back at you.
