she was ill before she married the handsome prince. She was doing the bulimia this before and then during the marriage. Imagine being Prince Charles and trying to make love to her..the breath and the drama. Now, 10 years later there in an inquest into the accident. About what? It was a simple accident, sad, but there is is. Charles finally got to marry his wondeful bride Camilla, and they are raising those boys without great. I think if Prince Charles had married Camilla in the beginning, the monarchy would not have had to endure all of the horrors that that diana gave it. She might have done some good things, but in life she was a mean spirited person, mean to her friends and mean to the poor prince. I am so glad everyone can live happily ever after now. What do you think?

OK people, I did not sit here and cross the "t's" and dot the "i's" YOU people get my drift so stop acting so frickien stupid. I read almost every book on this babe diana, and she was a total crack pot. I am just curious what you people think....I know many men agree with me, she was not the "ideal wife" more like a nightmare. She did what she did for a 'photo op" MOST important, she dropped friends like a morning dump. I just wanna know what the total admiration is?? Even the world has realized she was not "all dat"

Neither side of that mess was completely guilty or innocent. I certainly don't think Diana was mentally ill, and she did many great things. You are also right that she wasn't always a good friend.
Charles shouldn't have cheated on her, but does he have to pay for it the rest of his life? He is now with the woman he loves, who is certainly not the horse-faced monster people try to portray her as. She is good, kind woman, and Charles is a good man.
Diana was also a kind hearted woman. But these people are human who made human mistakes. Let's try to see them as people instead of icons.

Diana wasn't mentally ill, and Charles is not handsome. What do you mean she was "a mean spirited person"? She did good things for the poor and those suffering from deadly diseases. I was only 7 when she died so I only found out about her after, but she seemed like a good and humble person.

I'm against the monarchy though. I don't see the point of royalty AT ALL. It's an archaic and elitist system.

I understand what you are saying and In your defence Diana did suffer from mental illness .. and ANYBODY who says she didn't is actually being more disrespectful to her and her memory and to anybody who has EVER suffered from Depression.....

Depression is a major mental illness and instead of being taking it serious they are playing it down or assuming it can;t affect all people ...

NOW as to your opinion of Di .. well I was never a great fan .. BUT even I tend to think you're being a TAD harsh ...

Diana was a flawed human ... very very few of us aren't ...she made her mistakes .. just like we all can .. I just wish people would move on ..

Uh...Is there a question here? I would be rolling on the ground laughing if it wasn't so sad.

Apparently you just want people to agree with you, but you are so ignorant it isn't funny! Did you know her personally?! She was a dear friend to a friend of mine. I never got the chance to meet her myself but I know from what my friend told me that she was a wonderful, loving mother and did her very best to get along in this world, the same as the rest of us.

From the smell of it, I'd say your diaper needs changing.

PRINCESS DIANA WAS A GOOD PERSON, CHARLES AND CAMILLA ARE AND WERE THE EVIL DOERS. SHE WAS NOT CRAZY SHE WAS SIMPLY IN A HELLISH MARRIAGE. ODDLY ENOUGH SHE HAD A CRUSH ON HIM PRIOR TO MEETING AND MARRYING HIM.

CHARLES IS THE CRAZY ONE.

are you serious? she did MANY great things, and raised awareness about africa. her people loved her. her sons loved her, and she didn't love prince charles, so wouldn't that make him a horrible prince? what does bullimia or mental illness have to do with the good things she's done for the world? she obviously had body issues, but almost everyone does. she worked for the greater good.

She was the Draupadi ( Ref Epic Mahabharata , India ) of modern times. There is no point glorifying her any further.

I agree with most of what you said. I'm not sure Diana was so very mentally ill. I think she was spoiled rotten and very full of herself.
