In my opinion, it was put there for a reason. As long as it isn't so thick as to be impenetrable, it is fine. Although the shaved look is all the rage now. At least with that if you get tired of it, you can just grow it back. Unlike a tattoo or a piercing that are forever.

Honey..public hair is the hair on your head...PUBIC hair is down below. I have both and plan on keeping them.I trim but refuse to shave it off. I feel any man that's likes it shaved he is a pedophile. Grown women have hair..down there...kids do not...do the math.
