My tenant complained about some outlets causing her smoke alarm to go off in the middle of the night. I called an electrian out there to see what the problem was. He said he saw 4 faulty outlets that were not installed or wired correctly and it was a safety hazard. He wanted to charge me $85 to replace the first one and $60 for each additional one so a total of $280.00. It took him less than 2 hours to finish replacing and checking everything. I said that seemed a bit high and he was willing to take $240 for replacing all 4 outlets.

If Lee T is an Electrician, and has 4 years experience, he needs to learn how to spell it. Outlet costs about a buck. If you are not familiar with electrical work, call a licensed professional. $40 or $50 bucks is well spent to keep from getting knocked on your butt.

If you did it yourself about a dollar, if it is a standard outlet. Only do it if you have some electrical experience.
If you were to call in an electrain to change it about $60 a hour depending on where you live.

relies upon on the wear and tear, if the in basic terms element that become damaged become the hollow, then its going to be about $20, to position in an outside outlet and code approved hide. If the wiring become damaged, then the finished circuit can ought to get replaced, that would properly be 1000's of funds.

Im an electrician. Do this yourself.First make sure the power is off to that outlet. An outlet will cost you $1.00 . Just connect the wires the same way they were on the old one. I would charge probably $40-$50 to do this. If you have the cash, hire an electrician
