I am very conservative. VERY. I think Pres. Reagan was a bit too liberal on more than a few items.
That being said, CNBC is NOT a liberal media outlet when it comes to finance. CNBC's shows Worldwide Exchange and Squawk Box tend to be like most financiers are, conservative. Most of the people who watch those shows tend to invest their own money. They tend to go with what they know, not go on a hunch. By definition, they are conservative with their own money. They may have liberal ideas when it comes to OTHER people's money, but for their own, they tend to stay low risk.
I doubt Fox News business channel will bite much into CNBC. They need some very charismatic anchors for their channel, and they need them fast. Most conservatives don't look at CNBC's business coverage, and I mean business news coverage, as anything but moderate to conservative.

Yes, the mainstream media is biased to the right as you have observed. They kicked Dan Rather to the curb for a negative story about Bush that was substantially truthful, remember? Why is it that Dan Rather loses his job, and Ann Coulter is still allowed to open her pie hole?

Will a fake business news program be on the horizen, spoofing Fox? Sure hope so.
b.t.w. I wouldn't trust a Fox business network as far as I could throw a television tower, which isn''t very far. Imagine people investing based on afvice from Fox!! At least it will drive Halliburton stock up, maybe investors will invet long on the US buck and go short on oil.

CNBC far left?Where the hell have you been? These people spend their time trashing the left as being anticorporate.day in,day out.
And your "liberal Media' meme is just that,a meme, manufactured by the corporate media that is owned wholly by conservative oligarchs.A small fraction of so-called "liberal' material is allowed, but only in order to exploited as "proof' of the liberal bias that threatens the public good. This a classic right wing tactic. It was used by the Nazis and the Fascists, and now the corporate fascists that run this country. It keeps the sheeple in line, convinced a nonexistent enemy is trying to destroy them and their place in the world.
But you go ahead and suck their drool.I've got a mind of my own.

cnbc is in no way "far left." If it were, it would have a labor channel.
