I found out with a home test at 3 weeks along. I only tested because I felt queasy after eating a salad, so officially I was only 1 week late for my period.

Everyone is different. and not everyone feels the same signs of pregnancy. I knew when I was 3 weeks along (you count your weeks from the day of your last period). I am very intune with my body. I started to feel nausious all the time. Very tired. I would take 2-3 hour naps during the day and still sleep all night. (when I was not prego and took a nap--I could not sleep at night)--everyone said that I looked tired. My breasts tingled. and I noticed my stomach getting a little rounder--but yet the scale said the same weight. For my first son, I think I was about week 5 when I started to get pregnancy signs--I hope this helps.

I didn't *find out* until I was 6 weeks along. However, I did notice that when I saw a mother and baby I had this longing to have one. And I would constantly look at myself in the mirror and wonder what I would look like pregnant. lol, not much of a scientific answer for ya, but I think I just KNEW.

Usually it's when your at least a week late for your period that you might notice that your breast hurt a lot or you are peeing a lot more than usual. Usually morning sickness doesn't appear until your at least 2-3 weeks late for your period and that is early.
So typically symptoms aren't obvious until your 2-3 weeks late for your period and a missed period is a sign that your pregnant.

it depends on how far along you are ... i've read in a book that you're most likely to start experiecing pregnancy symptoms once you've found out that you're pregnant. it was very true for me. i took my pregnancy test and right after i always felt naueseated and had to urinate every five seconds! it depends on your body, but i would say normally a month or a month and a half into your pregnancy is when you will start to notice symptoms.
