should it have ended the way it did?

Honestly I was disappointed. The book ended on sad note. Hopeful though, but sad enough. I would have liked it to end happily, but life isnt always like cinema. It has to be real and that is what the author has done... Considering all this, the ending was perfect! Infact any other ending would have looked phoney. What do you say?

Kite Runner was seriously sad. As for the ending, I think it fit the book. But boy, did I feel bad for Hassan's son. Did you know they were making a movie of it?

Yes, because life is like that. It doesn't wrap up smoothly but there is always hope.

I was very mad at the author for what he put those people through!
