There are some women on here that have avatar names such as, His_Wifey, or JasonsWife, my all time favorite ArmyWIFE or some other crap about being someones wife. Doesn't that just scream co-dependent, needy, overzealous and can't think for yourself??? At least come up with a creative name and not just label yourself as someone's wife. I'm not a feminist by any means but COME ON.
~It really isn't any of my business what you name yourself on yahoo answers, but I would just LOVE to understand the reason you choose to do this. Please explain it.

Let's see if I can shed some light. Back when we got married, I changed my id to wife2denizmoi because I was totally stoaked that we had just gotten married! Yahoo! My husband's id was Denizmoi. We could be in the same chatroom and people knew we were connected. Before that I was Pburgbeanie...yes, a hail to the beanie baby trade! Woo hoo! What's the difference? It could say greenturd236 for all I care. Its just an e-mail address, basically. Nothing more, nothing less.

Exactly, you got the point. There aren't many of you out there, people have a tendency to not to like their identity or don't have any love for themselves that becomes either the wife of someone, or it can also be seen with "Im an engineer" or "I'm the doctor", etc. by putting anything before who they are in reality, and that is because of the little they are and the big are what they are doing in comparison to themselvse. So to whoever says that, that's in reality what they are saying. The thing is you shouldn't worry, that's how things are and just make sure you will always love yourself before anything and what you do, your degree, and especially your partner for whenever you find one (if you haven't already) to not to ever be your identity or who defines and gives you a name. Because it will suck to know that in years from now, you wont be who you are, you will be "the wife of the man of the blue car" or "the woman of the guy who likes fishing". Put your name first and before anything.

It must be that they really love them husband but maybe they choose those nickname cause they don't want to give up their marriage no matter if he is having an affair they are the wifes and the others not, they like that title.

I am "The Mrs." because I am proud to be my husband's wife. I know I made a good choice in a husband and appreciate him. I am sure these women are the same way. Don't you think you made a good choice of husband and appreciate him? This is just one way people show it.
As for your name, it really doesn't fit you. PeachPie insinuates you are sweet and cheery...peachy if you will. But you appear to be just the opposite.

Did it ever occur to you that maybe they are proud to be married to the men they are married to? What difference does it make? It doesn't scream co-dependent anything - it just means it's a name they picked. I'd love to be you if this is the stuff you have to worry about.

lol
not a feminist
lol
you sure sound like one
you got issues
they don't
they just have pride in their spouses
so what if they go by such titles
it's women like you the so called "independent" type
that tend to hyphenate the name if when they can find a guy foolish enough to marry
and then wonder why they get divorced later why he left you for some simpler women

I guess some people may have a mental block and this could be the only thing they come up with. But also, maybe they are proud to be his_wifey or Jasonswife, not necessarily a co-dependency thing.

My id describes me...I am Native American...and my husband thinks I am cute! As far as other women and their avatar names...I really don't pay much attention....everyone is free to choose whatever name they wish to choose...

Peach pie why are you so concerned about what people call themselves?. I don't even begin to let it worry me and if someone wants to be Army-wife well so be it. Its only a name.
I must admit I put abit of thought into my name, but that's me.

Maybe the women who created the avatar and the screen name is PROUD of her husband ... I myself like MY screen name ... I created it because lives to short to be ANGRY ... Be a bit off your rocker and people will think you're funny!
You come off as jealous of these women, is that the case? Like someone asked you earlier ... why do you call yourself peach? Are you from Georgia?
Just chill out and stop letting little things bother you!
