I listen to; Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Panic! at the Disco, Three Days Grace, The Used, Daughtry, Nickelback, Trapt, Avenge Sevenfold, and other bands like that. I wear (pretty much) "emo clothes". Would u consider me an emo freak?

Vn33; thanks for the compliment, you mad me feel really good, thanks! I always get called "emo" or "freak". I don't mind, I just wanted to know what everyone else thought.

Zach M and Jakex :] are right on target with this one.
The bands you listen to are not emo. Not even close.
Emo is completely different from the crap you listen to.
I wish kids like you would stop being so stupid and do some research before completely ruining a certain genre of music by associating crappy bands (like the ones you mentioned) to that particular genre. Those bands are not emo, they are pop.
To answer your question, though- I don't consider you to be an 'emo freak', but, like Jakex :], I consider you to be ignorant.

why is "emo" such a bad thing? d'ja kno it really just means emotional and technically if u have feelings at all then ur "emo" and most people have feelings...except for my spanish teacher who is SO evil and heatless lol but anywayz....Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Panic! at the Disco, The Used, Daughtry, Nickelback and Avenge Sevenfold rock! Why do you care?
If you like those bands, like them. If you think black looks good on you, wear black.
Even though it's totally contrary to how I act, some people say that I'm emo. It's so ridiculous. I have long hair, and black looks good on me, so I wear black clothes occasionally (never all black, I have colorful stuff too). They just go to the top of my iPod and see "AFI" as one of the first artists (even though if they looked closer they'd see that that's the only band of the genre that I listen to). They immediately associate me with some certain group. It's idiotic.
Don't care what they think of you.
Oh, and stop listening to Nickelback :P

I am pretty much like you, too. Those are the bands I listen to, Fall Out Boy excluded. Sorry, but I can't stand them. And Daughtry...eh. Okay, I guess.
So, no. Since I don't consider myself an "emo freak", I don't consider you one.
I'd call you different, as I call myself. I'm proud to be that way, too. =)

yeah all human beings is of an analogous opinion you're mendacity, i'm natrually very good and that i paintings out and that i play tight end as properly..you cant bench that ok i will in basic terms bench one hundred thirty five thats very stressful can in basic terms do approximately 4. i run the 40 in 5.3 kinda sluggish yet im engaged on it. Im 5'8 and 127.7 i in simple terms weighed myself oh and your a fatty until your in simple terms organic muscle then confident you ought to bench that yet no you would be the main effectual newborn alive and your no longer. Im in seventh grade too and all in all your a lier so stfu and cut back 30 pounds

You're not an 'emo freak', to start those bands you mentioned hate emo culture and they don't play emo music, and well about the clothes, you bought 'em and you can wear 'em everytime you want to, And you're not emo because you don't belong to that culture, only in case you slit your wrists, but I don't really think you do (do you?)
And you're much more than musical and fashion taste don't believe in everything that ppl say!

Why would you want to be emo?!
It's just a stupid fad/label.
I wear pretty much anything and listen to anything but all of my friends dress in band tees and we all have our own sense os style.
We have all the chavs call us emo/scene kids...
But it's just sooo stupid.
I have to admit you do have a sweet taste in music.
If you are emo (whatever the hell that is), you are deffo not a freak.

an emo freak? No. Ignorant? Probably. My opinion is that you most likely sit and watch MTV all day and watch the occasional American Idol. You think that your music is the bomb and you have no idea or interest in the bands that influenced your favorite bands.

well, first off, u have a good taste in music. just cuz they seen emo doesn't mean u are. if u have the qualities of what "emo people" have, than yes, if u want, than ur emo.
but just cuz that's the music style doens't mean u are.

no cuz some of those bands probably dont even consider themselves emo, like mcr said thay think emo is a pile of s**t. and u should listen to wut u wanna listen to. i listen to fob and a lot of those other bands 2 and i wear an fob shirt 2 skool and this one kid told me not to wear it but i dont care. and ur only emo if u wanna be emo and like the other guy said, if u have that emo attitude.
