They'll grab 93 wins on the year. The Phillies will be a nuisance all year round (and won't pop up into the division race in the last three weeks) but the Mets will hold 'em off by 2 games. I do believe Philly will grab the Wild Card again.

With an improved pitching staff and David Wright, Jose Reyes, Carlos Beltran, and Carlos Delgado, leading the offense, the Mets could have a chance to take back the NL East next year.

Prediction: 98-64

Mr.Minaya, has to get busy during the off season restructuring the pitching staff and some others positions( catcher / right field / has to decide who's finally going to play left field / needs a quality second baseman / and a legit back up first baseman. If the GM does what he has to do, This team will be again a top contender in the national league,Also my man Mr. Willie Randolph, has to be more aggressive on offense creating situations and has to stop playing Mr.Cool man

They have a good nucleus, and they still have plenty of resources. Unless the team makes a rash of bad decisions, you'd have to think they would be a contender. Sure, the starting pitching could be filled with holes and Delgado could get old in a hurry and a good replacement for DeLuca isn't found, but you'd have to think the Mets will find some answers to their questions.

That depends on what they do in the offseason to improve their team, as well as what other teams do. If they do nothing, they're in trouble.
