If there were truly some "left wing liberal bias" in the national media Cons keep whining about, logically, they would be all in SUPPORT of the Fairness Doctrine, because adopting it could ONLY weaken the "hold" the left has on the media.

Their complete disdain for the proposal demonstrates they have very little interest in being "Fair".

It's a specious argument anyway. There is not ONE liberally owned and operated news organization in the entire world. let alone America.

I think the argument about "liberal bias" is stupid. The Reps/Cons will label anything that isn't super right wing retarded as being "liberal". They label science and facts as "liberal bias", yet the bible and Christianity has more credibility than non-negotiable solid evidence.

Stephen Colbert said it best, "Reality has a well known liberal bias".

Because there is no Fairness doctrine in schools. In the media if you don't like the way the news is being presented you can go to CNN or one of the other cable news networks. In a school you either have to agree with the prof or gat a low grade. Do you think thats fair?

talk radio and college are a little different.

if you don't like what's being said on the radio, you can always change the channel or shut the radio off.

college kids can't shut off their professors or change classes.
