I agree with the first answer...You need more details for anyone to answer this question. There are too many factors left unsaid.
1. Do I know this person?
2. Do I know the person that will be saved?
3. Is it a evil person who will live/die?
etc...........

You may want to clarify that--who are we talking about? Are they related? Is one old and sick and the other young? Why would I have the decision-making authority?
In general, I'm in favor of saving everyone that can be and wants to be saved.
Are you talking like if a car went off a bridge w/ husband & kid in it? I would get my husband out first, because I can't swim well. If I want my kid to survive, it will have to be because Daddy knew what to do.

I would try my very best to save them both..But if one died I would continue to try to save the other..You just can't stand there and watch another human being die, without trying to help them!

You make it sound as though it is a choice. If both were in mortal danger and I could only save one, then I would save one.

in read the other answers to your question and i think in certain curcumstances then yes but to save two people and be only able to choose one i would not choose either.
i could not live without knowing wht the other person could of done in there life

Yes, I might, depending on the circumstance.
This is a question that dosen't really have an easy answer.
I.e, would you kill a serial killer, to save his next victim?
In that case, YES.
