Have yo tried vasaline, put a heap on and see if it will come off, if it doesn't then I think it's time for medical assistence, they may have something for it t get the ring off, don't put it off for too long as it's cutting the circulation to your finger and you may end up with nerve damage.

If you have already tried cold water and lotion, etc. and the ring is still on there with your finger swelling, then you need to get to a hospital soon and have them cut the ring off. You can lose your finger if it continues to swell due to the lack of circulation.
Good luck.

hold your hand upwards for a few minutes to help relieve some of the swelling. squirt it with dish soap- get a lot of it on there, then gently pull and turn the ring as you are trying to remove it. if it is still not coming off after you have tried everything and it is cutting off you circulation or making your finger swell even more then I would suggest you go to an emergency room or a jewelers and have it cut off- the ring that is, not your finger ;o)

You have to wait until you wake up in the morning, your fingers are less swollen then. That's when you wash your hands and then bring out the lotion. If that doesn't work, it's stuck forever. hahah just kidding. But really, if that doesn't work ask a doctor or someone serious.

You've done if all! You need to lose fluid from you finger. Try to keep it elevated above your heart for greater than 30 minutes. That'll reduce the swelling. Then go for the lotion in cold water. Otherwise, I think you're going to have to cut it.

1- soak your hand in ice cold water
2- use soap , oil, hand lotion, anything pretty much that will make the sliding of the ring easier
3- twist the ring off

That happened to me and I tried all those things and then someone in a chat room jokingly suggested windex, but I tried it and it worked AND made my ring shiny. I didn't wear the ring again until I lost some weight. Let me know if it works.

Hot soapy water. Put extra soap on the finger.

You put your finger under hot water and you rub it with soap, it should slide off after you do this.

Did you try using soap and water? Most time it works!
