Seriously, what do you think when you see someone walking their cat on a leash?

i haven't seen that, but i would wonder how they trained the cat to do that... or how the cat trained the human... here most all the dogs are trained very well and almost all walk without leads... some carry grocery bags, it is cute.. so i guess if i saw a cat walking on a lead, it would appear odd.... since the dogs don't even walk on them...

I've only seen it one time but it was a trip. At first I didn't know what it was until they got closer. I've seen some one walking a bunny on a leash too.

OK, no one will speak to me again. It was me. I have this beautiful Manx male cat. We lived on the busiest street in town. Since he was a kitten, I would put him on leash to keep him from freaking out and running into traffic. Now we are in the country and don't need a leash. Please don't burn my house down. LOL

The ones I saw were dragging the cat more than walking. Guess they need to walk too?

I would think that they love their cat very much and don't want to see their pet getting hurt by just letting it outside to run wild.

at first glance, i wouldn't notice it because it would register in my mind as a dog, but upon further inspection, i would notice its feline features and be very weirded out. then i would just burst out laughing, shake my head, and continue on my way. this is if i ever saw this...
