Zeus (who became Jupiter in the later Latin mythology) was the father of Ares (Mars).
Chronos (Saturn) was the father of Zeus (Jupiter).

Ouranos, son AND husband to Gaia (Earth) fathered the Titans, of which Chronos was one.

So the sequence is son - father - grand father - great-grand-father
Ares - Zeus - Chronos - Ouranos.
