I did from the age of 30 to the age of around 50 every winter and loved it, taught my kid the sport and had to give it up to knee problems fantastic and healthy sport. I highly recommend it. But should be started with taking lessons from a pro. instructor.
Go for it you will love it.

I last went water skiing in 1980. I was pretty good. I could do the trick skis and the slalom. I have never skied on snow.

water skiing is much more fun!!
