If we use exactly 0.100 ml of tert-butyl bromide and 1.0 ml of 1.6 M postassium tert-butoxide in DMSO:
a. What is the limiting reagent ? Show reasoning
b. Calculate the theoretical yield in milliliters of the butene produced at 740 mm and 25 degrees celcius when it is collected over water. R=0.0821 liter atm/mol K and the vapor pressure of water is 24 mm at 25 degrees celcius. (Recall, PV=nRT)

Here is how to do part B

Use the ideal gas equation that you have and solve for V. But it will be in liters, so convert to mililiters.

The pressure you have is in mm Hg. First subtract the vapor pressure of the water from 740 mm. Now convert the net pressure to atm. by dividing by 760. The temperature in C has to be converted to Kelvin.
