my frend is going to the dance with a guy who doesnt even like her! she asked him & he sayd yes so he wouldnt hurt her feelings! (he told me & other people this ) shes one of my closest frends & i want to tell her now before she REALLY gets hurt! but how do i tell her?

It is just a dance. They each needed an escort so they wouldn't look like losers. Hopefully they will enter the dance, then split up and hang out with other people.
Stay out of this girl's business.

In life there are times when you have to learn from your own mistakes. It is our mistakes and challenges in life that make us stronger people. If this guy didn't want to hurt her feelings he cannot be that terrible of a date. Maybe they will have a good time together and leave it at that. I think you should be supportive that she asked this guy out and took a chance. You should be optimistic that he isn't going to hurt her.

you really just need to be like i really need to tell you something. make sure she knows the guy is an asshole n its not her fault. dont tell her that hes been telling ppl about it b/c thatll make her feel stupid. just like tell her n if shes upset just like comfort her n i think you guys should talk to the guy to get everything straightened out. i mean it is just a dance, but if the guys being a jerk than your friend shouldnt have to go w/ him...but she might still want to. but you really need to tell her so shes not in the dark.
