Well first of all CONGRADULATIONS!!!!!.I had twin girls in march.Being my first pregnancy,I SUPPOSE it wasn't that bad!As far as what to expect .........i would say not to much from a normal pregnancy besides the fact your belly might be a lil larger(lol).I myself had ligament pain, lotsssssssssssss,as well as shortness of breath.I used to joke and say my girls were stabbing me inside!I too stayed tired alot.Just remember there are 2 in there! With my pregnancy i retained a ton of fluid and as soon as i stood up or walked around it got so much worse!literally the best advice i can give is too rest as much as you can!!!!!!!!!!!I know this may be a lil difficult with other children in the house, but it's sooo important!I hated it whenever people told me to rest and put my feet up,but i made myself. Also if it hasn't started already, you may not be able to sleep comfortably.....you see my belly was rather large because my girls were 6lb each and it really hurt to try and sleep.Sometimes i would wake up with a million pillows all around and none of them gave any comfort! However, i did sleep in the recliner a few nights! I was put on bed rest around 41/2 months b/c my bloodpressure stayed really high!I was put on blood pressure meds and they helped some!at around 41/2 months i was put on bed rest.I wasn't really happy about that cause ima mover, worker, cleaner lol. However MY MAIN CONCERN WAS HEALTHY BABIES!
Im sure you'll be just fine with this pregnancy.Just remember to sit back and relax as much as possible even if you have to get family members to come over to do house work or babysit while you rest! You are more prepared im sure than i would have ever been with a twin pregnancy. If you have anymore ? you are more than welcome to email me!I wish you the best with your prgnancy and those lil babies!
GOOD LUCK

I've always secretly hoped to get a surprise like you did - congrats!
I'm 16 weeks pregnant with my 4th baby so you and I aren't too far apart.
I've read a lot about twin pregnancies, and I have 2 cousins that have had multiples, and it seems that not only are many pregnancy symptoms (like sickness, fatigue and aches) exaggerrated, but they also start a little earlier, which is why you might be already having aches and pains and you're still just barely in your 5th month.
I doubt you will have to go on bed rest unless you are diagnosed with a specific complication. However, you will definitely find yourself needing more rest throughout the day. Don't be surprised if you don't get that 2nd trimester "surge of energy" that a lot of books promise.....
And you probably already know this but God might give you a little break and let the little ones come a tad bit little earlier than a singleton pregnancy. The norm for delivery of twins is around 35-37 weeks instead of the usual 38-40 weeks.
With twins it just takes patience and positive thinking, and the realization that many things will be multiplied by two - everything from your appetite...to the joy you will feel at the birth!

Congratulations on your pregnancy! My experience was that all the common discomforts of pregnancy started earlier and were more intense than with a singleton. Not fun to anticipate, but it's worth it! It seemed like I went from extreme nausea to feeling big, tired, and useless. Take care of yourself, eat really well, and get lots of support. Can you get more rest? A great book is Barbara Luke's "When You're Expecting Twins, Triplets or Quads". You might also want to visit NOMOTC (National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs) to get more information about this pregnancy, and to find a local group of moms. This is definitely the time to seek out and accept ANY help that you can find!

Well I'm only having a single, and I've had those same symptoms real bad my whole pregnancy (36 wks). Where as my 1st child was virtually problem free. My grandmother did not know that she was pregnant with twins (no ultrasounds) and felt so good she was standing on a ladder painting her kitchen when she went into labor. So I would say that you aren't nesessarily doomed to bed rest. Although I kind of wish that my doc would give me that order so my husband would have to do more of the chores! lol

Sperm compete, that's to mention, sperm of extraordinary guys compete or clash with every different. 'The different day, I cheated on my boyfriend along with his nice buddy' Do you imply the day prior to this or the day earlier than? After you discovered you're pregnant? '-- and final week I discovered I was once pregnant' If you had been pregnant on the time of your infidelity, then no concerns. Did you cheat or did you drop him. 'Cheat' is an absurd phrase for infidelity, like you're gambling chess or poker. This is also is also no longer perspective is getting you in concern. VD? STD?
