YES. All those posters (except Shannon) above me are WRONG! Blood typing does not follow simple Mendelian Genetics. Even many doctors don't know this (the same doctors don't know women can have hemophilia). Did you know your blood type can CHANGE? There are documented cases of this and it is another reason why they type and cross-match every time before giving you blood.
My own family is an example. Both of my parents are O positive. They have 6 kids and there is NO question on parentage. Three are O pos, two are O neg and one is A positive. I am O negative and my ex-bf was O positive. Our son recently found out that he is A Positive.
If there is question of parentage, a DNA test is the only thing that can tell you for sure. You can get a $99 test online that will tell you.

No. The only way that a baby can have A blood is if one of its parents has either A or AB blood.

No. If both parents have O positive blood, the baby will also have O positive blood.

No way!! I learned this from watching too much CSI--lol. But, seriously, the baby will share the blood type of one of the parents. Period. End of story. So if both parents are O+, then the child would have to be O+.

No.
If I remember my genetics correctly, if the A is present in either one of them, it is dominant. If both parents are 0+, then the only thing their child can be is O+ as well.
If the child is A+, someone else was the father.
Peace,
Jenn

Yes, everyone has a back type and a front type. The front type is what is expressed, but the back type is still there and can be passed on.

NO.
AA => A
AO => A
BB => B
BO => B
AB => AB
OO => O
This also goes with positives and negatives.
The child must be O+ because there are no other possibilities.
