If you're worried about it, call your doctor to find out for sure.

Hmm...
The possibilites could be your
Mucous Plug
Lukkorhea
Yeast Infection
Amniotic Fluid/Water Breakage

I'd venture to say that it's the normal Lukkorhea you get during pregnancy. Have you noticed milky-white discharge throughout your pregnancy? This is Lukkorhea, and tends to increase in amount in the 3rd trimester. It's your body's way of keeping out infection.

If it's more watery, and leaks like you're peeing on yourself, and stops, but then starts again within 30 minutes or so, that's amniotic fluid, and you need to go to the ER or your doctor. Amniotic fluid replenishes itself every 30 minutes, and when your water breaks, not all women experience a dramatic gush, but a trickle. But the trick to knowing if it's that, is that it will happen again (when you're sure you're not peeing on yourself) about every 30 minutes.

The Mucous Plug is a "booger" like mass, about the size of a quarter/dime that is usually clear, but sometimes can have a pink/brown tinge to it (in which case it's called "bloody show"). This is the "cork" that has plugged your cervix while pregnant, and women can loose this up to three weeks before they deliever when they start to efface and/or dilate. But, from your description, it doesn't sound like that's what you've experienced.

A yeast infection in my experience involves some discomfort around your cervix (like sharp pangs of pain, especially after peeing), and severe itching down there.

Just to be safe, put in a call to your doctor tomorrow morning and describe your symptoms. If you experience contractions that are 5-10 minutes apart, and get stronger no matter what position you lie/sit in, etc, and range from your lower back, to your abdomen (especially lower), and even your upper thighs, go to the hospital. If you bleed, go to the hospital.

Good luck, sweetie!!!! I hope it's not the onset of labor quite yet. It's too early to have your baby already, but, with proper care in the NICU, your baby DOES have a good chance of survival even if he were to be born now. I'll be thinking about ya!

The OB nurses always told me this is the best way to find out if its your water: Lay down for half an hour on your back. If its your water, it will pool inside your vagina while you lay down. When you stand up, if you have a gush or short quick trickle, then get to the hospital. Once your water breaks you only have 24 hours before there is a high probability of infection, so its nothing to fool around with.

If its not your water, if could be discharge (yes, that much), or urine even if it doesn't have an odor. Oh, the joys of pregnancy!

This could be increased vaginal discharge that is common in the last trimester of pregnancy, or more seriously, leaking amniotic fluid. My advice, call your doctor immediately, even if the office is closed, or go to ER. Don't be concerned about being embarrassed if it is just discharge, b/c it's always better to be safe than sorry. Also, doctors would always have you play on the side of caution. Best of luck.

I would call my doctor. You could be in labor and then again it may be nothing but you won't know until they test the fluid. I just had a trickle all day long and had no idea till I went to the hospital. Good luck!!

Yes! Go to the doctor and have them check if your water has broken. If it has it is imperative that you deliver soon. If the baby is without amniotic fluid it can develop infections. Even if it hasn't it is better to be safe than sorry. Good luck and best wishes!

Call your doctor ASAP. They can test to see if it is amniotic fluid that you are losing. If it is they can get you on bed rest if it is not too late. If you have lost too much fluid they will have to deliver your baby. Don't worry too much. Even if your baby is born now most likely it will have no lasting problems. My son was born at 29 weeks and he is now a completely healthy, active 3 year-old with no delays.

Sounds to me like your water broke and you are going in too early labor. Call your doctor's answering service, they will page the Dr.. He or she will call you back and let you know what you are to do.

Sounds like you lost your mucus plug. That happened to me and I was afraid my water broke so I went to the hospital and sat there forever just for them to tell me to go home.

It is amniotic fluid. You may have a little tear in your amniotic sac or (bag of waters). This happened to me at 33 weeks, and I "leaked" for 5 weeks, fighting infection the whole time.

I would call your OB.
