No, there is no such things as false positives…

Pregnancy test’s only pick up on a specific pregnancy hormone and it has to be high enough in order to come out positive. Their for if it comes out positive then you are pregnant, but if it was to come out negative their can always still be a chance that someone is pregnant due to the hormone not being at a high enough level.

My friend also has ovarian cyst and has found it hard to get pregnant… so if your test came out positive congratulations!! It’s a blessing!!

Good Luck!!

No, an ovarian cyst has no effect on a pregnancy test. I'm 36 weeks pregnant now and I had a cyst prior to pregnancy. Still had a positive test at 4 weeks.

No it can't. I have Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrom and if I am pregnant they always show positive. My ovaries are covered in cysts. I have been pregnant 6 times and have never had a problem with false negatives. Good luck!

Yes an ovarian cyst can provide a fake optimistic outcomes. I had an ovarian cyst and needed to have it surgically eliminated. It takes HCG hormones for the cysts to develop, and they may be able to have hair and tooth/nail ingredients. That takes HCG to create, so it's going to intent a fake optimistic.

No, a cyst cannot hinder the results of a pregnancy test.

The home test is measuring the amount of HcG hormone in your urine. The cyst has nothing to do with this, nor will it necessarily impede the pregnancy if in fact you did conceive.
