The Elite because it's not as expensive plus the Xbox Live is a lot better than PS3.

Xbox has more games right now, but PS3 is getting most of the same ones: Assassin's Creed Kane & Lynch, and since EA just bought BioWare, I wouldn't be surprised if it sees a Mass Effect port. Its also getting Metal Gear 4 and GTA 4 next year. As well as Final Fantasy XIII still being exclusive
Xbox on the other hand is slightly cheaper until the 40GB PS3 is out on November 2nd. And has a better Online system.

ps3 better investment the games right now for the ps3 are pretty much horrible but Metal Gear Solid 4 is coming out soon. Free online play,more games to come in the long run, and well it just plain out looks great in HD.
360 still has the heat problems even though they did extend the waranty still not a good deal. 360 has some great online play but you have to pay and the 360 well its like a heat pump.

PS3. The Elite is a PS3 wannabe. The PS3 has HDMI first, so MS had to make the Elite so that it has 1.2 HDMI, not 1.3. The PS3 has the 60 gb, which was bigger than the premium's measly 20 gb, so MS had to make the Elite with the 120 gb. The PS3 is black, so MS had to make the Elite black. The PS3 has Blu-ray, while the Elite doesn't even have HD-DVD. The PS3 has Wi-Fi, while you have to pay 100 bucks for the Wi-Fi adapter.
