can someone show me how to solve this equation x^2+x=0 please no negative responses?

Factoring x^2+x=0 gives:
x(x+1)=0
x=-1,0
But you said no negative responses, therefore, x can't equal -1. So x=0 since that is the only other answer.

Divide by x ---> x+1=0 therefore x = -1

Factor-- (x*x)+x ---> x(x+x)=0 -----> x=0 or x+x=0 and solve from there...
