Do we really need to beat each other up just because we don’t happen to agree on party policies? Or have we grown-up yet?

You are right, we CAN be grown up about it. There are several posters, on both sides, who know how to behave as adults when they disagree. This name calling, finger-pointing crap gets old.

hillary is at 50%+

I hate to keep saying it, but history is the magic ball of the future

republicans if they run romney, the romney family was govrenor in michigan, almost the secretary of state in michigan in 1998 (i voted against romney in the republican party convention, *snicker* the other guy lost to the future governor)

Point: The status quo is power in the hands of the political aristocracy

if people are fed up, why is Mrs Hillary Clinton the heir apparent of the Democrat Party? Aren't they the party of the people?

They are now behaving as the GOP.

Nixon Bush or Dole had their names on the ballots except 1964 every cycle since 1952

now Democrats are in a similar situation, where there will be a gore or a clinton on every cycle since 1992 except 2004

with hillary on the ballot in 08 and 12 presumably,

and who do democrats want - gore - you see here on answers democrats want gore to run

status quo you suggest is outdated but the fact is with the hillary ascention its not something the people are willing to do differently

The first step is to keep Clintons and Bushs off the ticket and elect someone new.

It is time to get someone that can bring this country together, The USA has turned into the United Status of Aristocracy.

I believe it...conservatism for the last forty years has left this country languishing. Inclined to keep things as they are.!? Well...what do you think? Change is sure to come. Go Hillary!!!

You must be young. Politics hasn't changed in 200 years. It's the nature of the game. In fact, it's only gotten worse. No, we will not "grow up". Sorry.
