my parents left when i was 14...they were tired of being parents

The first time was 22...then moved back when i was 26 as i broke up with that boyfriend and now i have been out of the house since i was 30. I loved living with my parents, They were awesome...my mother died 2 years ago very suddenly and seriously, they were the best parents!!! My daughter is 9 years old now and the day i moved her out of my parents house at 5 years old, she was heartbroken as she lived there since she was born but i had to do it to go live with the next boyfriend and have been with him for 4 years now and we have a 20 month old son together now.

I became emancipated at 15. I lived as an adult during my childhood overseas. When I came to America, I automatically became an American citizen because of my father. I then went to a lawyer to "divorce" my parents. That was the best decision that I have ever made. I'm an adult now with children and hope that I can keep them happy enough that they will always stay close. They always say that they want to stay with me forever... If that's what they want, then they are always welcome. My childhood was very violent, but I didn't let that violence continue for future generations. If you have a good relationship, then it shouldn't matter how long a person lives in their parents house. Just don't take advantage of their hospitality. Be responsible and help out. Peace!
