By changing clock ahead in spring, we get the day light for one hour longer than regular time. We can do all out door activities including work for one hour longer. In the morning still it is early daylight during this time. By switching back to regular time in fall, we get the early daylight in the morning. Otherwise it would be still dark at 7:00 AM. So by switching back to normal hours we can get back to work in the morning, especially construction trade where work starts at 7:00 AM on work site.

THE POINT IS TO HAVE MORE DAYLIGHT SO THAT MORE OUTSIDE WORK CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED. IN MY OPINION IT SHOULD STAY IN EFFECT YEAR ROUND.
