Yes, it's normal and boy are you lucky! For those who get morning sickness, it's awful and can last for months.

Also, sickness has nothing to do with gender. I was sick with all of my pregnancies and I've had both girls and boys.

In fact, I've heard that old wives tale in reverse - that it is boys who DO make you sick.

Congrats and feel lucky if there is no morning sickness, generally sickness doesn't occur until four weeks or so and can continue through to the end of the first trimester. In some cases it can happen for the entire pregnancy. My first child was a boy and I was sick for 4 months as soon as I opened my eyes in the morning. Be thankful for the respite and enjoy the rest of your term

If you havent had any morning sickness, consider yourself lucky. I have one boy, whom gave me a WONDERFUL pregnancy with NO SICKNESS and I am pregnant with my second boy and I was sick the first 3 months. Every pregnancy is different and I dont really think that it matters the sex of the baby on whether or not you will get morning sickess. If you find yourself getting sick, try eating small meals several times a day, or ask your doctor about different prenatal vitamins. I had to take Flintone chewables because the regular prenatal pills made me sick. Hope this helps.

I had morning sickness, I am 31 weeks pregnant with a BOY! It might be true that you have a boy, but I dont think it'd because you're not sick... GRATZ on the baby and kudos to you on the no morning sickness!

Consider yourself lucky. Not everyone gets morning sickness. And it has no relation to what gender baby you're having. I have had a girl and two boys - with my daughter I was not sick, with my first son I was sicker than a dog for 6 months, and the second son I didn't get much more than a little morning nausea.
