I just bought this brown wool skirt by Banana Republic. Usually I'm pretty decent at putting outfits together, but for some reason nothing I pick out seems to look right with it. Btw, this skirt just brushes above the knees. Any suggestions?

A black sweater - even a turtleneck & black tights w/ knee high boots. The right kind of purple/eggplant or burgundy would look good too. If you go w/ eggplant or burgundy, the consider a cotton blouse w/ French cuffs.

A brown sweater might look dazzling with that skirt. I trust the different poster, positioned on some brown knee-extreme boots (basically be certain the heel isn't too extreme or it's going to look undesirable with the shortness of the skirt)! you will look super!

I would put a burnt orange turtle neck or crew neck top. Wear the top over this skirt and add a thin belt over the sweater (brown lizard embossed) or a chain gold belt.
Wear some great tights and an ankle boot.

Aww cute skirt! I can picture a nice button up blouse in pretty much any color or oh try a v-neck ivory sweater!
