Leaving for Boston on Amtrak this afternoon from Connecticut Moon. It is the most relaxing ride, my thoughts carrying me away to another plain. As the train rolls with its click/clack I watch the beautiful, chisel shore move by with boats beaded for the season and the emptiness of the sand. A favorite sighting, alas I see, the stilts folding into three's with branches and twigs at the top, a baby bird peaks out as the mother hawk hovers over it. My eyes are heavy and I fall into a blissful sleep until my arrival. Trains, tranquility, a safe haven.

Things happen for a reason so if you've missed your train it's perhaps this is a twist in events that will take you to a new Destiny!!!!

IF you're going to Long Island (Hampton area) the Long Island Railroad runs to the Island very two hours, That's how long it takes to get from NYC to the end of the Island.

Where I live, the trains usually come every five to six minutes.
