The same people who don’t care about people 2nd amendment rights being violated. Or the fact that the federal government has stripped away most states rights. The courts have decided to legislate from the bench. Teachers get suspended for saying teachers should be allowed to carry a gun to class. What happened to free speech? A student gets kicked out of class for saying a prayer. Congressmen get up and criticize an appointee for his religious beliefs on the floor of congress. What happened to "no religious test"? These same people attack bush for denying rights to people who never had them in the first place.
Since when do foreigners calling from overseas have privacy protection when they are suspected of terrorism? By this logic we should invade every country to make sure their rights aren't being infringed.

It's odd that you bring up the states' rights issue. President Bush's No Child Left Behind Act is the largest encroachment of federal power into public education in the past century. And a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage, which so many Bush-minded neoconservatives support, would be a gross violation of states rights by forcing states to conform to the federal government's definition of marriage.

I personally tend to favor less restriction of firearms, and think it's very hypocritical that the ACLU and other such groups are so indifferent to 2nd amendment rights.

But I disagree with the wiretapping of private citizens and other invasions of privacy for the same reason I agree with the right to keep a firearm in your home with no questions asked -- government should not encroach into the personal lives of citizens. Foreign nationals have never been guaranteed constitutional liberties (case in point: Guantanamo Bay), but U.S. citizens definitely are.

Because the fact is Bush has done things that many people and judges think plain out violate the constitution and law. PC terms aren't law, it's just society gone retarded, As for gun rights there's a long debate for decades over what the 2nd amendment really means, and most federal courts have ruled the right is collective, not individual, though thankfully as a society we see it more as a an individual right. Listening to the conversation of a foreigner call also means listening to the conversation of an American which the government along with numerous other things has been doing without warrants. And don't even get me started on the Patriot act.

via fact they're caught up in a hate mentality. They hate George Bush. they're in no way going to assert that Roosevelt did some thing so needless to say against the form. He became into their guy. He additionally supported the troops and he sent them into injury's way. Now he would not have the skill to flee with that as all of us understand that democrats basically desire to cut back and run, be quitters, renounce.

Regarding the issues of teacher suspensions, kicking a student out of class, and the "religious test," prove to me that's the actions of liberals in general.

Concerning the surveillance, the violations of the FISA laws have been on OUTBOUND calls from any American or otherwise to overseas.

Because they should.

By the way, Republicans have had full control of the Federal Government from 2000- 2007. Blame them if you wish.
Otherwise, dry your tears.

Liberals will do anything to get on the President because they want to grab the power. Thus, teachers are not to protect themselves since they are not allowed to carry guns and prayer is no longer allowed in schools.

I would not trade those rights for anything...security is not worth it...an American bullet will kill you just as fast as a terrorist's bullet...all those many americans who faught and died over the years for those right so that we and our children may have them...all their hard work is made in vein because of these violations...more accurately because of Americans who are OK with it.
