My name is Katie, short for Kathryn, and no, I've never heard it on a male. Poor guy! Imagine living life with a girl's name! So sad! Good luck and God bless!

No, Katie is nice name for a girl, I would not use it for a boy

No, it's absolutely a female name. Short for Katherine, Kathleen or any other Kath- name.

It's such a femenine name. That would be like naming a girl Franklin. It just doesn't sound right.
