You say we have the "race card", but you guys have the treason card.
Everytime somebody disagrees with America's foreign policy, the pundits begin the attack and make a huge deal of it. After that, comes the rest of the media. It goes so far that even congress spends time voting on worthless resolutions. Freedom fries, moveon.org ad, and a bunch of other nonsense.

vulture,
Nonsense. Here is my nonesense. Whenever cons attack minorities, it inspires neo-nazis and klan members to drag them behind their pick up truck.
Terrorists are going to do what they're going to do regardless.
Just wait, when Dems control the whitehouse again. We'll see if criticizing the president equals treasons when Repubs do it.

I don't think that it should apply to anyone, it is just a term coined by a conservative in response to an attack by a liberal. Nothing more, nothing less. It seems that people go on the attack way too often to make a point. Politicians exaggerate, stretch the truth, and just flat out lie. It is done by both major parties, and all are equally wrong for doing it.
If you want to be heard, you must first listen. No one seems to listen, therefore, they are not heard.

What?
There is a BIG difference between the oppression of the freedom of speech and the outright support of America's enemies.
Who Hates Americans?
By Ishmael Vera
The campaign mounted by campus leftists against Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week, which is scheduled to take place on more than 100 campuses during the week of October 22-26 has taken a new turn with the announcement of a counter-protest at the Washington Monument. The protest, which will be called “American Fascism Awareness Day” is being organized by Adam Kokesh of Iraq Veterans Against the War, the Revolutionary Communist Party, Students for Justice In Palestine, and the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee among others and will feature speakers such as congressman Dennis Kucinich and presidential candidate Ron Paul, anti-war activists Cindy Sheehan and Harry Karry and actor Sean Penn.
According to a spokesperson for the Revolutionary Communist Party, one of the sponsors of the event, “This is an answer to the Jew Horowitz and the neo-conservative Zionists who dragged us into an imperialist war in Iraq and are spreading hatred against Muslims to support their war plans against the Republic of Iran.”

Good point... Turnabout is fair play, I guess... Although I'd like to see a end put to both of those 'cards', as WAY to many people just regurgitate one of them as a response instead of thinking...

Because accusations of treason aren't politically correct, of course. Heck, simple patriotism isn't politically correct.

The big difference is when some republican says something stupid about African Americans some feelings are hurt and then everyone gets upset about it on TV and life goes on.
When Democrats say something stupid about the war on terror, it inspires dozens of Jihadists to kill American soldiers.
Lost lives are more important than hurt feelings.
