I have a fellow teacher that has had a pair of these and has used them about 20 times on the mountain - and now they are worn out!!
The high backs don't lock down tight any more and now they have to be used like regular strap bindings. My friend is probably about 160lbs, so maybe a heavier rider will wear them out quicker. Either way, I wouldn't buy a pair of these - they are a good idea but are not strong enough to last.

Don't listen to matty. He's already claimed he doesn't own a pair. The Cinch bindings ARE convenient to get in and out. Much faster than sitting down and ratcheting in. As for being responsive, they are just as responsive as a strap in. Once it's locked in place, they pretty much the same as a strap-in. The only drawback to Cinch bindings is that they are heavy compared to strap-ins. Like two to three times more heavier. If you're doing jumps and tricks at the park, this might not be what you'd like, but if you're an all-mountain boarder then the Cinch is worth a look.

So basically, the Cinch is K2's answer to Flow bindings. All i have to say is this, please, do not get these things. The drop-down high back design is a novel idea, that simply cant work. If they are actually tight enough to have good response, you wont be able to get your boot in. If you can actually get your boot in, then they're too loose to be truly responsive. And no matter how tight or loose they are, you wont have proper toe response. This is what i tell people who like that binding design, do not sacrifice performance for "ease of getting in". which is a lie anyway because i see people struggling all the time to get in. Do your self a favor and get a normal 2 strap binding. by the way, the best toe straps for 2 strap bindings are convertible and on-the-toe straps, not over-the-toe or cap straps.

Generally, you're not going to find somewhere selling an item for a lot cheaper than everyone else, wanting something to be cheaper doesn't make it happen. So I'm going to say you can't unless you buy used.

I heard they wear out after a while, but I've never tried them.
Sorry I can't offer more, but thats my opinion. I'd never get them, nor Flows or any other kind of binding like that, but maybe I'm just old school.
