its due 10/19/07 sounds easy right?.... wrong! my teacher didnt say what things i couldnt use, but what things i could use! i can only use:
rubberbands, straws, popsicle sticks, cardboard, cottonballs, plastic bags, paper bags, paper, and tape.
if its not on that list then i cant use it. even glue! wierd right!?!
has to be in sumthing no larger than a shoe box and cant way more than a pound.
and i have to be able to remove my egg from the box thing within one minute after its been dropped.

The secret is that you need to go back through your notes from class and see what information has been given in class, that you are supposed to use in your project.

The rubberbands will be important because the key is to suspend the egg.

Having had four kids going through this egg drop thing for three years each I am truly over it!and my youngest is in her first year(it's been nine years so far)
consider yourself lucky though this year my two youngest kids have to come up with one using only things from nature!
last year they could only use rubberbands, glue straws ,and cotton balls-that was interesting
one year my oldest used duct tape around cotton balls cutting "lid" for the top(he added a piece of tape to hold it shut during the drop-you'll have to measure it though to make sure of the size ; )
