My work always has a costume contest, and this year I'm not sure what to wear. It needs to be fairly cheap, not too sexy and not emabarrasing. Any ideas?

Make sure you check company policy. I was going to dress as a devil one year but the company forbade those kinds of costumes. Go to www.costumeideas.com. There are 59 pages of ideas. I am going to be a crazy cat lady this year. Just go to your local $ store and get a bunch of stuffed cats, sprinkle powder in your hair or get the gray hair spray. Attach the cats to an old robe (Or get one at a thrift store). Viloa...you have a great costume.

You could dress normally and say you're a serial killer - they look just like eveyone else. :)) Or if you watched Dead Like Me you could turn up with a stack of post-its with names and ETD (Estimated Time of Death) written on them. Using collegues/friends names and leaving them in strategic places would be fun. :)
