Which part of the pen would you consider the top?

This is for a pen without a cap. One of the pens that you have to click in order for the writing part to come up.

Well now ,Jefro, lemmee see h'yar. That air middle part sho nuff is the middle. That air bottomy part is whur the ink comes out. Yep, by whilikers, I do bleve it's that buttony part on the top what must be the top.
