I had horrible morning sickness with my first child, she turned 2 in July, and I started to get sick right at 6 weeks pregnant. Now with this pregnancy I'm having certain symptoms, but not as many as with my first, I have to use the restroom often, I am already really hungry and I am more tired than normal. I have felt nauseous only twice for only 5 minute intervals with no vomiting. My question is it normal to have completely different signs for two different pregnancies or do you think something is wrong. I have a doctor appt. on the 24th.

Honey, I have had three babies and am currently pregnant and no two pregnancies were the same!! This one is totally different! I had morning sickness (which I didn't during any of the others), my breasts are sore (which again is a first), I am tired all the time and get dizzy easily (due to a blood condition) and the stretching of my belly is more uncomfortable because the last baby was a c-section and so I have the scar tissue there that's stretching too! It is completely normal to have different signs during different pregnancies!! No two are alike!

Every pregnancy is different. I know this from experience.

My first pregnancy was pretty smooth besides the lunch-time "morning sickness" every single day. Then, 5 days after my due date, my water broke on its own and my delivery went really quick, in less than 4 hours in fact. So I expected my second pregnancy to be smooth and delivery to be easy, as well.

Not so. My pregnancy was miserable, and baby #2 was born almost a whole month early via emergency c-section after 15+ hours of labor.

And my third was miserable, but he held out for a planned c-section.

So EVERY pregnancy is different, even in the same woman.

Good luck. And hopefully you didn't jinx yourself by saying you haven't had morning sickness. Its really no fun!

That is definitely normal! the first child is usually the one that gives you the most sickness! ESPECIALY if it's a boy. Old wives tale states that when pregnant with a girl, you're less likely to have morning sickness. No worries! It's normal!

My sister-in-law had no morning sickness at all with her 1dt pregnancy and with her 2nd pregnancy she was sick for 5 months. Every pregnancy is different.

No two pregnancies are exactly alike. It's important to realize that your body's chemistry changes a little bit over time. In any case, talk this over with your doctor.

Every pregnancy is going to be different. You can't base how well this pregnancy is going on your previous one. It sounds like things are fine and you have no need to be alarmed.

Pregnancies can be like night and day....100% different!

BTW, labors are too. Just because you had a easy/hard labor with your first, doesnt mean you will with your 2nd too.
