wow, im really sorry for you thats a horrible and unfair way to go, i dont know what else to say except you will feel empty and probably for a long time, but you will come to accept it better with time and will be able to think about the person and their life more than their death and loss one day
you will come to cherish and love the memories of your friend
and will think of them with fondness and happiness one day
but just not yet
if you feel like crying, you should, dont hold it in, your alowed to cry its a horrible and sad thing and you have every right to feel and express what you are feeling
i went to both my gandparents funerals who we were close to and i miss them very much
my cat aslo died and we dint have a funeral but had a little memorial, id had him for 15 years, he was my family and a very dear friend and i miss him more than anyone i have lost, and ive lost a good few people

I don't know you and did not know your friend but I am so sorry.
Yes I have been there. Go to the funeral because it will give you major emotional support.
Scream and cry and kick things and do whatever you have to do to get the worst of the pain out.
Then sit down and quietly remember and write about him. Commit him to paper w words and pictures for yourself and your friends. I don't know why I said all this but I have felt this too. We all have to go there at some point.

i prefer to be cremated and placed in a urn that I even have adorned. Take me to the american Legion corridor that became into rented for the social amassing. There all my pals might desire to have fun my life with foodstuff and beverages, that have been paid for with the money that would desire to have long previous to the funeral director. occasion on anyone, i will see you quickly. that would desire to be my message to them....Sorry with regard to the shortcoming of your chum.

Yes...this past March, I lost a friend in a horseback riding accident.
You can't ask why....it will only drive you crazy. We all must go sometime. It hurts but, you will get through it. Feel better soon my friend.
