I took two First Response pregnancy test in the afternoon, within the same hour. Both came out positve though the second line was a lot lighter but clearly noticable. Is there a chance that because they're the same brand i'm not pregnant?..Please i could really use some help!

Generally, if you have a positive pregnancy test, it means you are pregnant. VERY rarely do the positive tests lie, the tests go off of the amount of Hcg in your urine, and either you have a traceable amount (pregnant), or you don't (not pregnant). Congrats! I'd definitely go to the doc and get a blood test, just to be 100% sure, but it 2 came back positive, you're most likely pregnant.

You're pregnant. If you read the directions, you'll see that it says that if the line appears, no matter how faint, the test is positive. Congrats! Don't worry. Mine was very faint too and I didn't believe it either. I made three other people check to make sure I wasn't seeing things.

A line is a line and besides unless your doctor does a blood test...they use the same tests off the shelf that you just took!

If there was any sort of line, especially two times, then you're definitely prego! It only takes a faint line to be positive. Congratulations!

A line is a line. It doesn't matter how dark it was, if there was a line, then you're probably pregnant. I would go to the doctor and have it confirmed there.

you sound pregnant two lines means your pregnant whether one is darker than the other or not my cuzins test was just like yours and she ended up being pregnant after all

The reason the second was probably lighter is because the concentration of your urine was lower so the concentration of HCG was lower.
