John Fitzgerald Kennedy. I was born in Dallas in 1963 -- 8 months before JFK was shot and killed. On my sister's 13th birthday she decided she wanted to go downtown and see the president who she (and every other young girl in 1963) had a huge crush on. My parents took all of us and we had the sad distinction of being present for JFK's assasination. Although I was just a baby, my family remembers it vividly.
