If in the face of the earth would you

kill
steal
sexually abuse

other poeple if there were no laws for it therefore when you do do it you would not be in trouble or go to jail.

Think all the stories you hear now about all the poeple that get in troble for killings, stealings, and abuse.

Imagine if there were NO laws how would you think this would rise?

if all political laws were desolved...there would still be the laws of nature... Karma would be the judge, jury and executioner...people will group up for survival...those who have the guns and those who have the water are in control...and they will instill a government and legislate laws and we will be right back where we started...well actually we started with the laws of nature but our population got so big we govern ourselves because although men can be angels they can be demons.

Wow, twisted question. I would absolutely not hurt other people just because there we're no laws prohibiting me from doing that. But that's coming from the perspective of living in a society with laws. Perhaps if I live in a world without law I might be a more brutal person, I would have to be to even survive. Thinking Post-Apocalypse scenario.

if there were no laws, there would be no definition of the last 2 on your list (steal, sexually abuse), so it would be impossible to do what couldn't be defined. the rate of these crimes would go to 0 by definition.

Killing would of course exist, but societies thoughout pre-and recorded histories have had taboos against that sort of thing. Sure it happens in some limited circumstances, but not as much as you seem to think when there are no laws to prevent it.

Kill, abuse, harm people -- no.... there is nothing for me to gain from it, so why waste the effort

Steal -- far too broad -- but if there were no laws, and no laws regarding property ownership -- then I might have no problem taking something that was effectively abandoned -- in other words, that someone had previously used but they were not using and were not going to use -- but that assumes a very differently set of underlying rules for property allocation

As for general civilization -- chaos -- because most people don't have enough basic respect and tolerance for others not to harm others -- which is why we have laws in the first place -- we just not advanced enough as a species to handle total freedom.

i would still not do those things it would be nice though to get revenge on the people that have done things like that though. I just think those things contribute to complete chaos and I for one dont want that, but interesting question.

nope-in fact i would shoot people who tried (if there is no law protecting the innocent-then there can be no law protecting the lawless).
