Of course you can!
Haven't you ever seen a Bugs Bunny cartoon? ;)

Seriously, though, most people are not trained to parachute from the typical cruising altitudes of 10,000 feet, and are not equipped to deal with bad weather and lack of oxygen (which, for most people, is not a serious problem!). ;)

Also, the airline would have to include an airlock system, so that the rest of the passengers wouldn't go accidentally flying out the door with you, due to decompression!

And, then, of course, there's the fact that the odds of you landing anywhere near your car from any height, given the jet's typical speeds, are against you!

But, then again, it wouldn't hurt to ask! ;)

Answer it yourself. But, plane modifications could be made to let people jump out of an airplane, but not everyone knows how to properly skydive right to their car, and it is too dangerous for airliners to allow that. Imagine the lawsuits.

the plane is traveling to fast for a safe exit.

you need to be a very good skydiver to have the accuracy under canopy to land just where you want.

The FAA says no.

There are about 50 other reasons I could give you.

However, I would jump if they let me! Landing in a plane sucks. It is so much better to jump and land my canopy!

Bro ... if you were to open a door from a commercial airline, the plane is going to crash. The suction from the outside air causes the plane to go imbalanced unless at a designated height and speed.

Why do you want to jump to your car, instead of your house.

Think about it. You can avoid the rush hour traffic as well
and save some gas too.

That would be awesome. The 2 things I hate about flying are waiting to get on the plane and waiting to get off the plane. Why are people so damned slow?!?!?!?!!?!
