Rees - I am actually in Australia. Like America there is such a variety of people and places here you should be able to find your corner somewhere. Good luck!

love, well that can mean many things, i moved from England to Canada for the love of my family, i thought that my children would have more chance in Canada than England, and putting my kids against my friends kids who are still back in England, my kids are 5 times better off, two own their own business, one is in heath care, and one is in last year of uni, compared to my friends kids who have poor paying jobs and no prospects, so yes i moved for love,

I didn't move to another country just a state, I moved from Pa. to Mo. I have been here 14 yrs, I miss my family and friends but I would never want to live without my husband, so yes, it worked out okay, I can always go home to visit.

I will be. Since she wants us to settle there, why not. I love her and I will surely fall in love with Australia. Nice place and the probably the best place to have a family of my own. It will work out for me perfectly.

Yes I have but we ended up coming back to where it was better. I loved my husband so much that I stayed in Mexico for 2 years so that we could be happy but in the he got his residency and know we are here together. Everyday I tell mysellf I am very happy that he came with me.

I wouldn't. I am my mother's only child still living in town, and I know she needs me. Also, I love where I live, and I wouldn't leave here--this is my home.
